There are two different ways to edit an existing track event:

  • edit the track, date, custom title
  • edit the actual workout

Editing The Track, Date, Custom Title

You can edit the track, date, and/or custom title for a programmed track event at any time. This does NOT affect the actual workout for the track event.

To edit some of the track event details, follow the steps below...

Step 1

Find a programmed workout from any of the calendar views (Month, Week, Day), click on the track event, and select the "Edit" option from the pop-up menu that appears.

Step 2

Change any of the following items from the Build Modal that appears:

  • Track - changes the track the event appears on
  • Date - changes the date the track event appears on
  • Custom Title - changes the workout title for your members in the btwb app

For example, if a track event appears on 1/24/24, but you'd rather your members do it on 1/25/24, simply update the "Date" field.

Step 3

When finished, click the "Update Workout" button.

If successfully edited, you'll see the toast notification appear at the bottom of the build modal. It will read...

"This workout has been updated and now appears on your programming calendar."

Editing The Actual Workout

You can edit any workout for a programmed track event as long as those events do NOT already have any logged results. IMPORTANT: Editing a programmed track event changes the existing workout. It replaces the old workout with your new workout.

*Note: If you don't want replace the existing workout, but instead want to create a new, separate variation of the existing workout, see Can I use a planned track event as a template in order to make a slightly different workout?
